What types of studies can the Doctor prescribe through the module of auxiliary exams and studies?

The Doctor can prescribe all the studies that are performed in the Dominican Republic: Laboratories, X-rays, Tomography’s, Magnetic Resonances, Sonographies, among others.

WHAT KIND OF PATIENTS CAN BE PRESCRIBED BY ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION?

It can be used for all patients who require a prescription for medication.

DO ALL ARSS WORK WITH MIRECETA.COM?

Yes, mireceta.com is an electronic prescription that meets all the requirements of the Social Security Act, so the doctor can give this prescription to their patients regardless of the ARS to which it belongs.

HOW LONG DOES THE MIRECETA.COM ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION LAST?

La vigencia varía según el tipo de receta:

  • Emergency Prescription: 3 days
  • Consultation Prescriptions: 30 days
  • Prescription Continuous Use: 90 days or 180 days depending on the ARS and the member's plan.

WHAT DOES THE PATIENT NEED TO PRESENT AT THE PHARMACY IN ORDER TO HAVE THE ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION FILLED WITH MIRECETA.COM?

You only need to present your e-prescription number, information that was sent to you by the doctor to your email or if the prescription is printed, the number is printed at the beginning of the document.

CAN A PATIENT WHO HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED BY THE MIRECETA.COM E-PRESCRIPTION SYSTEM PURCHASES THE MEDICATION AT ANY PHARMACY?

What process should I follow if the Doctor has made an error in the prescription of a study or laboratory? Can the Diagnostic Center correct the prescription?

Only the Doctor has access to correct the prescriptions that are issued on the platform, so the patient should contact the Doctor with any questions or clarification regarding their studies.

Will the Doctor receive on the platform the results of the studies to be performed by the patient?

In order to preserve the confidentiality of the patient's data and diagnosis, the Doctor will only receive the results if the patient sends them by another way to the Doctor or if the patient physically takes them to his follow-up appointment.
